[email protected] Position: Primary Attorney Michael S. Pauley is a licensed attorney in South Carolina, who is also admitted in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Pauley is a former Senior Judicial Law Clerk, for the Honorable Chief Justice Jean H. Toal, South Carolina Supreme Court, as well as the former Prosecuting Attorney for the Office of Disciplinary Counsel, which is that portion of the staff for the Supreme Court that is dedicated to the enforcement of the legal ethical rules governing attorneys, as well as members of the judiciary. Admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1992, Mr. Pauley’s practice experience concentrates on both State and Federal Constitutional law; legal ethics; civil rights law; general civil litigation; insurance defense; and appellate litigation. Mr. Pauley is also certified in South Carolina as both an Arbitrator and as a Circuit Court Civil Mediator. Retired from the South Carolina Army National Guard, Mr. Pauley has served both on active duty, and later in the reserves, as a rated Aviator with various assignments in Southwest Asia, Grenada, the Middle East, Central America, Europe, and the United States. Mr. Pauley is also the author of two Science Fiction books, They Own the Night, the first Gomer Wars, and Hell is the Night, the second Gomer Wars, which are both available through Barnes and Noble, and on Amazon. |
